You have to have statutory authority to issue an Executive Order on anything. That EO must be consistent with the statute. If the Constitution provides that rights under the 2nd Amendment shall not be "infringed" by the Government, exactly what will Obama do that is legal? He certain doesn't seem to worry about the rule of law or whether he can "rule" by Executive fiat either. Obama doesn't care spit for the law. More people are killed by high cholesterol than by guns. Maybe we should have a seven day waiting period to buy a bucket of fried chicken too.
