DEATH BY GOVERNMENT: GENOCIDE AND MASS MURDER

DEATH BY GOVERNMENT: GENOCIDE AND MASS MURDER
All told, governments killed more than 262 million people in the 20th century outside of wars, according to University of Hawaii political science professor R.J. Rummel. Just to give perspective on this incredible murder by government, if all these bodies were laid head to toe, with the average height being 5', then they would circle the earth ten times. Also, this democide murdered 6 times more people than died in combat in all the foreign and internal wars of the century. Finally, given popular estimates of the dead in a major nuclear war, this total democide is as though such a war did occur, but with its dead spread over a century

Late Yankees owner George Steinbrenner worked as a secret FBI informant, even helping the feds crack a terrorism case, government documents reveal.
Steinbrenner's FBI file, released Monday, shows he helped the FBI from 1978 to 1983.
Among the documents is a 1988 memo in which FBI officials agreed The Boss "has provided the FBI with valuable assistance."
While details were redacted, Steinbrenner assisted in an undercover operation of "a sensitive security matter" that led to an arrest, prosecution and conviction.
In a 1987 letter to the FBI, Steinbrenner's lawyers acknowledge he "knows that he placed the lives of his family and himself in jeopardy through being involved in a terrorist matter."
Steinbrenner became an FBI informant following his 1974 guilty plea to making illegal contributions to President Richard Nixon's reelection campaign, and to a felony charge of obstruction of justice.
Steinbrenner blamed his legal problems on bad legal advice, the documents show. President Ronald Reagan pardoned Steinbrenner in January 1989.

Stewie Griffin- Back in the 80s, a friend of mine from college (& his girlfriend) were street hotdog vendors (they had to pay $150 for the daily cart rental back then) & George Steinbrenner, who was getting a percentage of all stadium concessions, demanded that street vendors pay him $1 on every sale of hotdogs & sodas... and they refused; so, George Steinbrenner called the cops & ordered ALL street hotdog vendors to move a block away from Yankee Stadium... & the cops followed George Steinbrenner's orders, & made them leave the Yankee Stadium area, UNDER THREAT OF HAVING THEM LOSE THEIR VENDOR LICENSES, & even though they were on the PUBLIC STREET & SOME ACROSS THE PUBLIC STREET FROM YANKEE STADIUM! Of course, George Steinbrenner was NEVER charged w/strong-arming or extortion! THAT'S a fact!

For some reason The NJDN doesn't want to call Steinbrenner a "Rat" - "Stoolie" - "Stool Pigeon" - "Snitch" - "Canary" - "Weasel" - "Squealer" - "Fink" - "Ratfink or "Tattlertale" - like they have done countless times with other not so celebrated "Informers". In the absence of fair and unbiased reporting allow me to to it myself and add ten names that come to mind.

George was the best owner ever. He really cared about the team and was it's number 1 fan.

Even in death, Steinbrenner is proving to be even a bigger disgrace to the people and fans of New York. He was a money-grabbing creep who cared nothing for the people of New York. He almost makes Bloomberg look like a philanthropist. Almost, but not really.
