DEATH BY GOVERNMENT: GENOCIDE AND MASS MURDER

DEATH BY GOVERNMENT: GENOCIDE AND MASS MURDER
All told, governments killed more than 262 million people in the 20th century outside of wars, according to University of Hawaii political science professor R.J. Rummel. Just to give perspective on this incredible murder by government, if all these bodies were laid head to toe, with the average height being 5', then they would circle the earth ten times. Also, this democide murdered 6 times more people than died in combat in all the foreign and internal wars of the century. Finally, given popular estimates of the dead in a major nuclear war, this total democide is as though such a war did occur, but with its dead spread over a century

While Pippa Middleton has complained about some of the attention that she has received from tabloid newspapers, her sister will take a leaf out of Diana, Princess of Wales’s book.
The Duke of Cambridge’s best friend, Thomas van Straubenzee, tells Mandrake that the former Kate Middleton will use the huge media interest generated by the royal wedding to direct attention to good causes.
“I think she will embrace it,” he says in his first ever interview. “She loves William and is ready to throw herself into it. I think she will use it to do good things.”
Speaking at the private view of wildlife paintings by Lynne Moore at the Frost & Reed gallery in St James’s, Van Straubenzee says: “No one says anything bad about Kate because she doesn’t deserve it. The wedding was fantastic.”
His father, Alex, adds: “In all the time I have known Kate, I have never seen her get flustered. She is so serene; she has an inner calm.”
“Hopefully, William and Harry will visit one of the projects. I don’t want to put any pressure on them, but I might try and wangle a holiday out of it.”
