DEATH BY GOVERNMENT: GENOCIDE AND MASS MURDER

DEATH BY GOVERNMENT: GENOCIDE AND MASS MURDER
All told, governments killed more than 262 million people in the 20th century outside of wars, according to University of Hawaii political science professor R.J. Rummel. Just to give perspective on this incredible murder by government, if all these bodies were laid head to toe, with the average height being 5', then they would circle the earth ten times. Also, this democide murdered 6 times more people than died in combat in all the foreign and internal wars of the century. Finally, given popular estimates of the dead in a major nuclear war, this total democide is as though such a war did occur, but with its dead spread over a century

Royal hype

Did you watch the royal wedding?

So much for secrecy.
Prince William and new wife Kate have departed for a sand-and-sun honeymoon in the Seychelles where they'll stay at a $6,500-a-night exclusive villa, according to the British media.
Palace officials confirmed the royal couple jetted off for their delayed honeymoon on Tuesday, remaining mum on the location and length of stay.
But according to London's Telegraph, the newlyweds - now officially known as the duke and duchess of Cambridge - landed at the Indian Ocean country's airport in the morning and plan to stay 10 days.
The Seychelles, an archipelago of 115 islands about 900 miles east of Africa, are renowned for their radiant sunsets, turquoise waters, white sand beaches and giant turtles.
And if the lovebirds are up for some adventure, they'll have their choice of water activities like scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing and sailing.
The exact island has not been revealed, but William is said to have picked one that was available for private rental - a move likely to keep the public and press at bay.

"I think that, for the first few days at least, William and Kate will just want a bit of privacy," a royal insider told the Daily Mirror.
"After the glitter and excitement of their wedding and all the organization it involved, they can't wait to spend some quality time on their own."

The royal wedding at London's Westminster Abbey on April 29 attracted a television audience estimated as high as 2.4 billion. William and Kate surprised many when they announced they wouldn't immediately leave on a honeymoon.
After the lavish ceremony, they opted to go on a minimoon at a secret location in the United Kingdom. William then returned to work as a Royal Air Force search-and-rescue pilot while Kate was spotted near their home in Anglesey, Wales.
When they return from the Seychelles, William and Kate will temporarily part ways, as the prince will be sent to the Falkland Islands off South America for 10 weeks to continue his helicopter training
