KILLING OUR OWN. Chronicling the Disaster of America's Experience with Atomic Radiation, 1945-1982. Ever wonder why Cancer is second leading cause of death in the U.S. with over 700,000 dying annually. You would think that would get the attention of DHS or the White House. Instead all you hear about is terrorist. You 9 times more likely to die at the hands of you local police than by a terrorist. Why doesn't the government want to protect you from a real threat? Probably because they created it in the first place. Testing and releasing radiation into the environment through nuclear accidents, hundreds of nuclear test and aged and leaking power plants and waste, depleted uranium from weapons. Then there is the billions of dollars made from treating this created problem. Problem, Reaction, Solution!

Then government gives the Special Interest Corpatacracy solution that was waiting to be put in place before the they created the problem in the first place.
