Did you know that, since the U.S. invaded Afghanistan, opium production there has increased by two-thousand five hundred percent? 'Ironically,' the abundant and therefore cheaper supplies of opium lowers costs to pharmaceutical companies who are 'licensed' in the U.S. (Big Pharma). The resulting profits must be a financial windfall for a fortunate few. I wonder if Congress is aware. I mean, what a coincidence!
