Problem, Reation, Solution! Govt creates the problem, then blames their enemies. The sheople react and cry to their masters for help. Then government gives the Special Interest Corporatacracy solution that was waiting to be put in place before the they created the problem in the first place. This system has been used for thousands of years.

I am on the same page as you. Problem is I pay over 40% of my income to government through income tax, sales tax, tariff taxes that make the cost of goods I buy rise. And what does the government do with that money, national socialist schemes, fascist schemes. How is a group of people through the use of force/threats taking 40%+ of my annual income not slavery w/o chains? I feel like I'm being left alone so I can produce then pillaged every year. I am literally a slave to the government, they take too much money. You joined the military to protect your country from nazis, fascists, and slavery. You joined the military to protect your country from being taken over by these powers. What happens when it is your own government that becomes the enemy?
